Pretty Thing From Drink, Shop & Do

Last night I went to Drink, Shop & Do – the wonderful Kings Cross venue where we hold Pamflet salons – to meet friends for chats and WINE. The brilliant thing about DSD, apart from the free crafting events they put on there most evenings for anyone to join in – is the fact that everything – and I mean everything – is for sale. The vintage china you’re sipping tea from, the dainty plates, the chairs, the tables, the pictures on the walls, all of it.

And while we were steadily working our way through a couple of bottles of wine, I noticed the cloth covering a table in the corner – a jaunty red, white and green square with funny little people dancing around the edge and yellow and white daisies scattered across the centre. And I bought it!
